My Philosophy Towards Building Web Sites

Getting on the web is easier than ever. Having a strong web site can still be a challenge. My aim is to remove that challenge and build a website that is true to its purpose: useful, interesting, and "sticky" (that is, people will keep coming back).

What makes a good website, anyway?

  • Visually interesting, both in colors and graphics
  • Easy to navigate
  • No excess of bells and whistles which may take the site longer than needed to download
  • Use of your logos, text, colors, etc to make a "brand" tie in to other materials you may have
There are many websites out there which are too fancy for their own good. I believe a good site will allow you to navigate easily to any of its parts with a minimum of fuss and clicks. You should know exactly where you are within a site when viewing any particular page. It should not take an advanced degree for a visitor to figure out how to get to what they want.

Proof is in the pudding as they say, so take a look at my samples to see sites I have built. And if you would like me to build one for you, contact me for more information. Thank you!
